Oakley is an American brand born in the world of BMX (bicycle motocross) competitions. Its founder James Jannard began by selling knobs with a material patented by himself (it is still used in his glasses today). The brand became famous over time for its quality, like its sports glasses. In 2007 it was acquired by Luxottica bringing its production to Italy.
