Puroo Tokyo

The Italian spirit meets Japanese philosophy, very similar and very distant. In this brand new project, PUROO eyeglasses and sunglasses want to be a dedication to Japanese culture by transcribing a small slice of it, through Italian imagination and creativity. Inspired by Japanese streetwear, each frame features creative minimalist details, highly iconic decorations with soft colors and references linked to a specific vision of the designer whose intent is to be inspired by lightness, understood as trifle. Some elements create a play of volumes specifically desired in the creative phase, opting for roundness and the absence of edges on each frame and bringing a wave movement into the special workmanship of the temples; many references in the metal cores of the temples are linked to the tentacles of an octopus, the elusive animal that dances gracefully among the rhythmic waves of the sea. The sense of lightness is also amplified by the idea of ​​clouds which elevate the lightness of the brand's thought. This is where PUROO was born.
